Spanish Collocations Dictionary (DiCE) is an ongoing lexicographic project developed in La Coruña University. It is one of the results of the X-TRACT2 project.

In DiCE you can find the most frequent collocations of words that express feelings. Phrases such as alegría loca, vergüenza terrible, honda pena, etc. are examples of collocations where the adjective is used to intensify the noun sense.

DiCE is a part of the collocation dictionaries research program (Benson et al., 1986 Hill & Lewis 1997, Polguère 2000, Crowther et al. 2002). Unlike these projects, the collocations found in DiCE present a semantic and syntactic description through the use of both glosses and lexical functions
(Mel’cuk et al. 1995). Although conceived mainly as a production or
codification dictionary, DiCE can also be used in inverse searches. That is to say, by clicking on a word (a verb, name or adjective), you will easily find out with which nouns it is usually combined. As a result, you will obtain a collocations list constituted by different base names with the same verb, adjective or collocative name.
