I have a BA degree in Hispanic Philology (Spanish language and literature) and a Master’s degree in Spanish as a Second Language in Professional Environments, both from the University of Barcelona. I am currently continuing my academic development in the Cognitive Science and Language PhD program at the same university. As a recipient of a FPU predoctoral grant and as a member of CLiC, I’m working on my future PhD thesis. My supervisors are M. Antònia Martí (UB) and Horacio Rodríguez (UPC). My research is focused on paraphrasing in the framework of Computational Linguistics. The goals of this research are to define the scope of the paraphrasing concept and to formalize its manifestations in order to develop NLP techniques allowing for its automatic processing.
